As a UX Designer Project Based (IxD) at Amber, you'll craft amazing user experiences while working alongside industry veterans to bring delight to players around the world! If you're passionate about leveraging player insights to design intuitive and engaging interactions for some of the biggest names in the gaming industry, we want to hear from you.

Here's what you can expect:

Profile Preselection: Our Talent Acquisition team will review your profile to ensure it aligns with our requirements and values

Talent Acquisition Interview : Selected candidates will undergo an initial interview to discuss about their experience, skills, and fit for the role.

Online Test : Qualified candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment to demonstrate their abilities.

Technical Interview : Finalists will participate in a technical interview to assess their proficiency and compatibility with our team when a project staffing plan is made.

The Quest:

  • Play a UX design role across a portfolio of world class games for diverse platforms and genres
  • Create empathy maps, player journeys, feature flows, wireframes, click- through prototypes, and more
  • Use UX insights to create delightful player experiences through careful crafting of micro-interactions
  • Leverage heuristics and expert knowledge to identify and resolve usability issues
  • Write actionable, engaging, and intuitive microcopy
  • Use iteration, combined with qualitative and quantitative player data, to refine your work
  • Actively play games and engage with player communities
  • Be a champion for UX interaction design by sharing knowledge and mentoring

    • The Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a UX designer, or equivalent background
  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in UX design, or equivalent background
  • Expert knowledge of interaction design fundamentals
  • Hands on experience applying user centered design process, usability heuristics, and gestalt principles
  • Ability to create complex feature flows and click-through wireframes prototypes
  • Proficient English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
  • Solid UI and graphic design skills are a plus
  • Experience in the gaming industry is a plus
