Founded in 2020, Gunzilla Games is the independent AAA video game developer and publisher behind the free-to-play mobile game TECHNOCORE, the gamer-first blockchain GUNZ, and the upcoming next-gen battle royale Off The Grid, in three metropolitan locations: Frankfurt, Germany (HQ); Kyiv, Ukraine; and London, UK.   • ABOUT THE JOB

    Gunzilla Games are looking for a Technical Artist to join us working on OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter, due for release on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series XS and PC

    RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with Design and Art to create best practices and optimal workflows for level building
  • Communicate and work closely with programmers to develop new engine features
  • Analyse memory/performance concerns throughout a project's development
  • Create efficient and user-friendly Master Materials and Material Functions for use in-game
  • Author and maintain scripts, blueprints, and Houdini Digital Assets to be used by artists in our content creation applications
  • Streamline workflow by proactively finding solutions and by working with production teams
  • Research and develop prototypes for Unreal Engine pipelines and help bring your co-workers' ideas to life
  • Work together with the Technical Art team as the problem-solving unit of the project
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Broad understanding of the Unreal Engine such as Blueprints, Level Streaming or Profiling
  • A good understanding of Blender's 'Python' API and its modifier creation system
  • A good understanding of C++ and Unreal Engine's Editor C++ API
  • A good understanding of modern Rendering Techniques
  • Experience in creating in-editor automation tools that help artists work faster
  • Expert knowledge of major performance related topics
  • Able to collaborate and work well with teams from various disciplines
  • Take ownership of shippable quality content/systems that are memory efficient and performant
  • Provide clear solutions to complicated issues
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box to overcome technical challenges
  • Ability to self-direct, and be autonomous when required
