Summary

At Aristocrat, the Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing (IGSS) team is responsible for creating and driving enterprise wide. Sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories as well as collaboration with multiple Business Units to secure optimal. purchasing opportunities for Aristocrat. We interface at the SVP and VP levels of the company, with the ability to understand customer needs and drive results to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.

The IGSS team is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer who is passionate about sourcing the best products/services, with the best suppliers with a focus on cost optimization to keep the control company overall operating expense and best in-class contract favorability.

You will be part of a dynamic and engaging team responsible for continuing the building out of the global indirect sourcing. function including policy & process deployment, driving organizational change and adoption, creating team infrastructure. and documentation and creating the most efficient and effective indirect sourcing projects around the Aristocrat. infrastructure.

• We are putting a strong, skilled, and committed team together who will have the ability to drive organizational scale by creating better processes, tools, reporting and infrastructure of how Aristocrat manages all non-gaming related vendors (supporting our internal only infrastructure) and be key to strategy development and leadership reporting. • You will play a key role in supporting more effective contracts that better benefit Aristocrat both in cost and service offerings, as well as streamlining the tools, processes and forms we utilize. • Support effective and efficient global indirect sourcing projects to lower the operating expense (OpEx) of the company at all levels, produce best in class data packages, and ensure complete alignment. • This position will also help support continuous improvement of procurement processes throughout Aristocrat and its subsidiaries.

What You'll Do
  • Purchase goods, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets within stakeholder budgets
  • Research and evaluate categories of opportunity and reduce costs where possible.
  • Deliver managerial briefs, updates, and reports as and when required.
  • Develop creative and innovative procurement processes that align most effectively to the business.
  • Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement, including a strategic focus on optimizing tail spend.
  • Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and payment terms with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
  • Assess and evaluate existing and new suppliers through the management of supplier onboarding and offboarding process, and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities (SRM)
  • Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.
  • Manage new vendor set up and coding, and assist in on-boarding and off- boarding of vendors
  • Support the IGSS team with the current Procure-to-Pay (P2P) project and tasks.
  • Administer and manage intake of general inquiries for the Indirect Sourcing team.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to ensure proper training is provided consistently across the P2P/operational remit.
  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.
  • Support/prepare RFx documentation for any new services required for the business and liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers and provide recommendations to the business and stakeholders.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements.
  • Prepare standard baseline purchase requisitions in which PR notes must be solid, and even reference contracts, dates, GL/cost center details, etc.
  • Maintain contact with suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
  • Assist in developing standards for new products or services, maintains comprehensive descriptions of available products and current prices.
  • All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, supporting development of strategic templates, strategy documents, project charters, executive project summaries & contract summaries, savings documentation, and audits.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Minimum five (5) years of sourcing and contracts experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology.
  • Process rigor related to RFI, RFQ and RFP management preferred.
  • Supply Chain certification(s) a plus.
  • Manages change, ambiguity, complexity, and drives for optimum results.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Able to communicate on a global and regional basis using clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex and/or critical internal and external relationships, strong negotiating, analytical and technical skills.
  • Self-confident with an ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner.
