Senior Outsource Producer
US - Remote
ProbablyMonsters is seeking a Senior Outsource Producer who is
experienced in directing outsourced content and partnerships. At this level,
an Outsource Producer leads several feature areas. This role keeps projects
predictable, on time, within budget, and as accurately scoped as possible. May
assist with forecasting and refining the development process. Manages to
outsource pipeline tasks. Documents detailed asset spreadsheets for a complex
chain of approvals. This role works cross-functionally with game designers,
artists, engineers, and other teams throughout various stages of game
development to achieve the goals set by key stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Drive outsource development by scheduling and tracking incoming/outgoing
assets.
Manage communications and provide feedback to stakeholders and help
maintain a strong creative relationship between external and internal
teams.
Generate detailed documentation, visual reference, and examples of asset
production, procedures, and engine requirements to support the external
vendors.
Own the quality control over all incoming assets, providing detailed
feedback and approvals to the vendor to deliver quality assets to the
development team.
Communicate with directors, leads, production, design, and other
departments.
Collaborate closely with developers.
Organizes and presents material for reviews of game content and features
to help guide team discussions.
Writes objective lists to drive prioritization and negotiation of a
collaborative, cross-functional milestone plan.
Assists the production team on risk mitigation plans.
Organizes meetings and records meeting notes, taking and distributing
notes regularly.
Facilitates the development of several feature areas.
Manages product development cycle tasks.
Ensures effective, efficient communication between teams at various stages
of product development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of the software development production methodologies
(Agile, Kanban, Waterfall), specifically around leveraging those
methodologies to debug and refine team processes.
Familiarity with project tracking software such as, but not limited to,
Jira, ADO, ShotGrid, or Hansoft.
Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Project, Excel, One Note) or
equivalent software.
Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
Proven ability to understand the development process, specifically around
debugging and refining processes.
Strong active listening skills, unafraid to ask questions and to improve
communication.
Able to work with minimal instruction on day-to-day projects and end-to-
end assignments utilizing best practices, independent judgment, skills,
and previous experience while also looking for ways to improve team best
practices to effectively execute assignments.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training,
and experience.
Experience working with outsourcing.
Preferred experience working with large, cross-discipline teams within AAA
Games.
Preferred experience shipping games on multiple platforms and/or
experience working on gaming platforms or related technologies.
Preferred experience with feature ownership within AAA game development.
Preferred experience with Agile methodologies and/or formal training in
equivalent methodologies.

Compensation:
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
The full salary range for this position is $117,300 - $176,000 per year.
The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing
employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is
made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and
skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar
jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for
additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term
incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
