Senior Network Engineer

Network Engineers at Riot are tasked with administration, implementation, and design of high performance networking systems to support our global player base. They seek to eliminate the need for human interaction with infrastructure by automating deployments, orchestration, management of physical and cloud based networking devices. As a Network Engineer at Riot, you're knowledgeable in how and when to use automation frameworks like Ansible or Salt, you understand the basic concepts of software programming, and readily use code to create tools to make it easier for Rioters to ship code!

As a Network Engineer II within Esports, you'll be part of a high- functioning team responsible for tackling all aspects of Riot Games' network infrastructure. You take advantage of automation tooling and processes in order to monitor network health, respond to events and eliminate the burden of repetitive tasks. A Network Engineer provides the highest level of operational support, triage, break/fix, and incident resolution - including response to critical issues, notifying customers of network issues and assessing and communicating business impact. As a Network Engineer, you will be tapped to be a resource to deliver important projects. Finally, you will maintain Riot's network infrastructure by providing both remote and onsite support through a 24 / 7 on-call rotation to ensure high levels of network uptime. You will report to the Manager, Network Engineering
