The travel team supports Riot and Rioters in multiple ways, including
corporate travel, expense reimbursement, and supporting our Esports travel.
The Travel Senior Manager at Riot leads the global travel team and has overall
responsibility for crafting and maintaining the corporate travel policy,
negotiating the travel aspects of large-scale events, overseeing the expense
reimbursement process, administering the credit card program, managing travel-
related projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and owning the end-
to-end experience of travel software used at Riot. This role leads a small,
globally- distributed team and reports to the SVP, Treasury.
Responsibilities:
Create, modify, maintain, and communicate a dynamic global corporate
travel policy
Collaborate with Corporate Events and Esports to find optimal travel
solutions for events of various sizes through strong project management,
practical innovation, and thought partnership
Oversee multi-faceted negotiations of all major accommodation and air
travel contracts globally
Manage integration and execution of global credit card program and align
with expense reimbursement program for each territory
Assist stakeholders in finance and accounting on key projects, providing
accruals assistance, controls mitigation, or working on applicable month-
end activities
Create, manage, and disseminate reporting on travel KPIs for management
decision making and policy adherence
Support Talent / Legal teams with visibility and specialty reporting on
personnel issues related to travel and expense
Provide development and mentorship for junior travel and expense team
members located globally to unlock their growth in current or future roles
Develop messaging for Riot regions or global teams related to travel and
expense changes
Work with joint task force teams to support unique projects
(historically: work from home, travel restrictions, or uncommon
expensing)
Required Qualifications:
14+ years of corporate and event travel experience, 5+ years leading
travel teams
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google
Slides
Extensive experience with Concur or other Online Booking Tools
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors preferred
Experience managing large projects and dependencies

(Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $142,700.00 -
$198,500.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company
match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term
disability + open PTO.
