Keywords Studios now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR
Generalist to be a part of its growing team. This position will support and
report to the Regional HR Director UK & Ireland in a full scope of HR tasks to
support all UK studios. This includes but is not limited to: supporting
performance management and development processes, absence management, talent
review, recruitment, HR projects, training, HR reporting, HR compliance,
supporting payroll & personnel administration process and other.
The role can be hybrid.
Key responsibilities and activities
Full scope of HR tasks including but not limited to: supporting performance
management and employee development, talent reviews, recruitment projects,
training, HR reporting, HR compliance, supporting payroll, employee benefits,
personnel administration process.
Manage the annual and interim performance review processes and make sure
timelines are met and employee development in line with KWS performance
management policy.
Work with team leaders to recognise performance concerns.
Ensure that health and safety policies are adhered to in all locations.
Support Studio heads to create and maintain an inspiring and fun creative
workspace.
Maintain HR Policies and Handbooks and updating them in line with
legislative changes.
Managing recruitment projects for support functions and global and local
staff roles
Partner with Regional HR Director UK & Ireland to build awareness of
company policies and processes by training and communication to Studio
Heads and employees.
Support Studios Heads in Employee Relations matters.
Respond to employee queries on all areas of HR, escalating where
appropriate.
Implement & maintain Keywords procedures and projects locally – i.e.
succession planning, 9 box grid and other.
Support hiring, onboarding, off boarding, payroll and personnel
administration process, as needed – preparing contracts, updating local
and corporate HR systems,
Preparing requested reports and analyses.
Maintain HR Databases, ensuring updates are made in a timely fashion and
carrying out regular data cleanses.
Ensure consistent Human Resources administration is followed in all
studios; including personnel files, contracts, job descriptions, annual
leave and sickness records etc.
Support studios with Visa allocations and Visa application process with
the Home Office for new employees coming from abroad.
Supporting the delivery and facilitation of HR Workshops.
Support the Regional HR Director UK & Ireland in the annual budgeting
process.
Qualifications and core competencies
Degree in related discipline or CIPD is highly desirable.
Minimum of 6 - 7 years of work experience in a Human Resources Specialist
or Generalist role
Experience in supporting the UK visa process is desirable.
Computer literate, proficient in Word, Microsoft Outlook and Excel with
experience of tools that ensure that enable digital transformation of the
function.
Committed to personal learning and self-improvement, including continuous
professional development.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills along with the ability to
communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organisation.
Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects by being flexible,
organised and able to prioritise and manage own workload.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high activity environment, on a wide
variety of matters and able to handle the requirement to quickly shift
from one situation or task to another.
Solution focused problem solver who is commercially astute and pragmatic.
Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Networking and relationship building.
Accountability and dependability with the ability to work both
independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements quickly and then
implement actions to meet business objectives.
Excellent project management and communication skills and strong attention
to detail.
Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage but not
required).
