The Engineering & Data team (E&D) is the central tech hub of Voodoo. The team aims to build the most innovative tech products to strengthen Voodoo's leadership in mobile gaming while successfully accelerating product diversification such as non-gaming apps or blockchain gaming products.

By joining the team, you will work with our stack:

- The main language is VueJS in the frontend, NodeJS in the backend

- REST or GraphQL frameworks

- Architecture on AWS (EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, MediaConvert, EKS, …)

- DevOps/CI: CircleCI, Git (GitHub), Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Prometheus and Grafana

This position can be hybrid (3 days/week at the office & 2days/week remote) or in full-remote (in Europe)

Role

Design & build business-focused full stack applications in a cutting-edge and evolving environment

Provide a state of the art growth-engine to distribute and scale our apps & games

Participate in the business strategy and vision and consistently deliver innovative solutions to our business teams

Demonstrate technical excellence, help define best practices, test and build the product everyone will desire

Demonstrate ownership: capacity to be autonomous, innovative and creative.

Profile

4 years minimum of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer (not including internships)

Extensive proven track record of successful product development such as web applications (mobile and/or desktop) that provide high value to internal/B2B/B2C end-users

Excellent organizational and communication skills (you speak and write fluently French and English)

Pragmatic, adaptable, and result oriented with a problem-solving approach

Ability to deliver in a fast paced environment and deal with change.

Must Haves

Strong experience in an Object-Oriented Programming or functional language: ideally JavaScript/Typescript or Java/Scala, C#, PHP, Python, Ruby…

Strong experience dealing with web back-end complex topics, for example breaking down a monolith into microservices, building a brand new system from scratch, building a rule-based engine with complex business rules, handling integrations with complex 3rd parties

Good knowledge of industry best practices (SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DDD, TDD…)

Nice to Have

Experience in 3rd party integrations

Experience with AWS: EC2, RDS, EB, SQS, SNS, ES, Airflow, Lambda…

DevOps experience, ideally good knowledge of CircleCI / Github / Terraform / ArgoCD / Docker / Kubernetes

Experience in the Gaming or Advertising industry
