ABOUT THE JOB
Gunzilla Games is looking to recruit a Senior Data Analyst to join our
marketing team for our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale
2.0 third-person shooter, due for release on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series XS
Through strategic decision-making optimize the performance of our
multiplatform Battle Royale game and drive informed decisions. Create and
execute analytical projects with a focus on game development,
incorporating methods like regression, forecasting, and clustering and
more advanced methods.
You will build analytical systems from scratch, combining both product and
business data coming from different data sources.
Engage in hypothesis exploration by conducting ad-hoc data mining and
analysis to investigate hypotheses related to existing product features
and identify opportunities for improvements.
Participate in player behavior analysis utilizing statistical analysis to
deeply understand player behavior, contributing to the development of
targeted solutions for player engagement and retention.
Create forecast models for the game, enabling data-driven decision-making
for game development and improvement.
Take charge of developing visually compelling abstracts of large data
sets, making complex information accessible and actionable for cross-
functional teams as visual data representation and reports.
Collaborate with various teams across the studio ensuring seamless
integration of analytics into game development and marketing strategies.
A Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a comparable
5 years of professional experience in analytics, with at least 2 years
specifically in the gaming industry.
Proficiency in R/Python and advanced knowledge of SQL for effective data
manipulation and analysis in the gaming context.
Strong knowledge of ETL processes.
Experience with the Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Lake and other
Demonstrate working knowledge of various data analysis, data visualization
and reporting tools.
Deep expertise in PowerBI as one of the main tools to be used.
Expertise in Tableau, Grafana, Amplitude, and Google Analytics, with a
focus on their application in gaming analytics.
