THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Senior Advanced External Art Manager who is experienced
in running our Art Team's external production pipeline. You will be
responsible for working across the entire development team to build out
scalable solutions to external art and co-development which extend our
capabilities and raise the bar on how we build games. Working with discipline
experts, you will organize and facilitate external art development throughout
the lifetime of a game project.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Field and prioritize new asset requests from the development team, in
partnership with production.
Write briefs with clear instructions and supportive reference for new
vendors.
Curate and develop a library of detailed documentation, references and
examples which ensure the creation
of quality assets throughout the production cycle.
Help a development team understand how they could modify their pipeline to
work more effectively with
external development partners.
Advise with stakeholders on an asset approval chain and pipeline which
will scale with new types of content,
as well as with new vendors being added over time.
Work across the team to develop strategy to grow our external art
capabilities and establish clear roles &
responsibilities across the team that improve quality or velocity of asset
deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of game development experience.
Previous professional experience both creating art content and as an
External Art Manager, ensuring high-quality art for larger productions.
Strong working knowledge of the art production pipeline for games,
including understanding of different types of art assets, for all stages
of the production cycle.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Previous experience with UE4 is a plus.

Compensation:
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
The full salary range for this position is $136,900 - $205,300 per year.
The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing
employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is
made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and
skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar
jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for
additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term
incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
