Founded in 2020, Gunzilla Games is a fresh, independent AAA developer working on its Battle Royale 2.0 Off The Grid in three metropolitan locations: Frankfurt, Germany (HQ); Los Angeles, USA; and Kyiv, Ukraine. Gunzilla's formidable team of talent comes from a variety of industry-leading studios and publishers (Ubisoft, Electronic Arts (EA), THQ etc) as well as Oscar-nominated screenwriter, director and producer Neill Blomkamp, Chief Visionary Officer, and the author of the Altered Carbon series, that has been adapted into a popular Netflix show, Richard K. Morgan, Script Writer.

    Gunzilla Games is looking to recruit a Project Manager to join us in working with teams developing our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter, due for release on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series XS and PC

  • Manage the design, development and release process across the projects.
  • Be the communication liaison between departments to ensure on-time delivery of the projects.
  • Proactively identify, report and take ownership of unblocking any day-to- day issues arising within the development to keep production efficient and operational whilst ensuring that expectations are fulfilled and requirements related to the content, gameplay, user support, technology and marketing are met.
  • Support the stakeholders in communicating task priorities and assist team members in understanding how current tasks and activities contribute to the overall development and vision.
  • Ensure that project status is visible to the senior management, providing regular updates to stakeholders at all levels and taking full accountability for feature delivery status.
  • Oversee project budgets, track timely vendor payments, prepare financial reports, and manage payment issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks and run errands as needed, even if they are tedious or mundane. No task is too small for this role.
  • Continually monitor development teams' and projects' current and future health and status; conduct ongoing risk analysis and provide mitigation solutions to the senior project team.
  • Mentor and coach other members of the team in agile practices and production software.
  • 3+ years experience in project/product management, preferably in gaming. Blockchain is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, including the details of production such as design, asset and build pipeline, schedules, budget, and quality assurance.
  • Successfully developed and managed people, resources and schedules in the successful production of impactful customer-facing games.
  • Have a can-do attitude and be a person who is not afraid to get their hands dirty.
  • An engaging leader, with a convincing personality and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to proactively manage projects with minimal oversight. Excels at anticipating and mitigating risks before they become problems.
