Riot's Procurement team partners with deal owners and external partners to
secure all goods and services needed. We apply policies that help mitigate
risk while allowing for maximum value in our deals. From getting large
projects approved and negotiating contracts, to tracking orders and payments,
we help deal owners navigate the journey.
As a Procurement Operations Professional , you'll report to the
Regional Procurement Manager. You'll be responsible for understanding and
incorporating the requirements to successfully onboard suppliers into Riot's
Procurement Platform, Coupa, as well as the contracting process and workflows
for buy-side contracts . You'll work closely with the Business Units,
Procurement, Legal team, and suppliers to gather accurate data and ensure all
procedures are followed until they reach final execution. Your attention to
detail must ensure that all supplier records and fully executed contracts are
accurate and properly updated. The ideal candidate for the Procurement
Operations Professional position is a talented and ambitious professional with
tactful communication and strong organization skills.
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary liaison between Riot and suppliers for all supplier
onboarding activities, and assist with navigating and resolving issues.
Maintain a robust understanding of the requirements associated with
implementing and managing a supplier onboarding program and be responsible
for driving continuous improvements across all related processes and
policies. Track and document all enablement activities required for a
proper audit trail.
Ensure that all updates to our policy account for the different supplier
types used at Riot, and evaluate if/how our organizational structure might
be impacted.
Enforce the proper controls for maintaining our supplier database,
including securing sensitive information, identifying and gathering
missing data, and supporting the audits of existing supplier records.
Provide supplier training via emails, one-on-one calls, or virtual
meetings. Provide suppliers with Coupa product support for the Coupa
Supplier Portal.
Enforce the standardization of our contracting process for nearly all buy-
side vendors. Manage the tracking, monitoring, and signature execution of
all buy-side contracts. This would include tagging key terms in contracts,
and ensuring all contract metadata is captured in the contract repository.
Review all inputs and approvals prior to determining next steps for
signature (usually creating DocuSign and package for signers).
Meticulously enforce signing authorities and determine which leaders
should be signing contracts.
Summarize key contract terms and details. Ensure our signers better
understand contracts they need to sign by providing executive summaries.
Respond to queries from executive admins or contract signers.
Monitoring contracts about to expire and notify the respective teams.
Respond to requests for process exceptions by investigating and
synthesizing appropriate solutions within guidelines, and escalating
highly unusual or complex issues/requests to the Procurement Management
Team.
Requirements Qualifications
At least 3+ years of supplier enablement experience in the Procurement
industry, or related procure-to-pay activities.
Strong organization and follow through skills; pays close attention to
detail; has strong written and verbal communication skills; and has a
team-player mentality.
Ability to understand, interpret, and articulate procurement policies and
control requirements in order to execute good judgment, especially under
challenging situations.
Self driven individual committed to delivering a high level of accuracy in
all job related activities.
Ability to provide reporting and adequate visibility to all parties
involved.
Proven track record in managing high volume data tracking and entry;
proven history in working in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of procurement systems, ideally Coupa a plus.
Prior experience supporting multiple teams.
1+ years previous system or program administration experience strongly
preferred, or ability to demonstrate comparable knowledge and skills.
Associates degree in business administration preferred.
Fluency in a European language would be advantageous
Knowledge of Google Suite a plus
