Power Test Engineer SDET
We are looking for a SDET that has experience in test automation in the
electronic consumer field. We validate consumer electronics at a system &
subsystem level using internal/external tools to gather information about the
device that runs against our test cases. We must meet regulatory and internal
MSFT spec on unique projects and consoles to gain confidence in the quality of
our devices.
Pay Range : $41-42/hr
Responsibilities:
Test automation development using PowerShell, C++, C#, Python
Design, implement, test, and deliver test automation at a system level and
subsystem level
Adhere to modern engineering practices, effective coding, writing unit
test cases, debugging, code reviewing and creating CI/CD (Continuous
Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines.
Conduct testing and code reviews to ensure quality code is released to
production systems.
Deliver on engineering commitments, while keeping customer experience and
satisfaction as the overarching goal. Engineer will be given
projects/tasks and has to upkeep current automation and test execution.
Build functional and technical documentation.
Executes prewritten manual test scripts and reports product anomalies when
found.
Run automated test tools and perform analysis of results using analytics
applications such as JMP, PowerBI or Excel.
Demonstrated investigative and problem solving skills required.
Familiarity with product lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required
5 years of technical engineering experience in the consumer electronics
field
General knowledge of personal computers, applications software, or
operating systems required.
Ability to use test measuring equipment such as a oscilloscope, power
meter such as a Yokogawa, Data Acquisition, DMM.
Must have the ability to learn new information quickly.
