The Partner Activation Specialist will join our team of community and
marketing professionals supporting our client, the developer and publisher of
a AAA racing franchise.
They will work closely with multiple teams to plan and execute a marketing
roadmap, as well as managing relationships with local partners such as car
manufacturers and eSports organizations.
Our client's Partner team is focused on securing, managing, and maintaining a
third-party Partner portfolio that provides excitement, in-game content,
marketing and promotional activations, co-branded experiences, and selected
outbound license deals. Their thru-partner program delivers a promotional
footprint that includes both social media as well as traditional co-marketing
activities. They leverage their partners to support and drive their growing
franchise across geographies, audience types, and products. Their partner
types cover a wide range – including automobile manufacturers, automotive
ecosystem partners, major entertainment brands, other gaming franchises, and
major consumer brands.
We're searching for an energized candidate to join our team, learn our
client's business, and help support their growing footprint with a combination
of project and organization skills supported by marketing and business
experience or comparable training and education.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Partner Activation Specialist will work with the team to manage,
organize, plan, support and follow through on assigned programs and
rhythms. This will include full reporting and communication of program
status, and performance on a regular cadence.
The incumbent will interact with game production resources to track items,
identify decisions to be made, manage schedules, and escalate items as
needed. The role will require the program management of multiple
initiatives coordinating with cross functional teams while tracking
deliverables. To support this, candidates should have communication and
collaboration skills supporting this responsibility. A strong cross
collaborative view, understanding the importance and need of cross
functional team members, is required to be successful in this role.
The Partner Activation Specialist may work with key partners & licensors
from time to time, and thus must be able to collaborate with those
partners to ensure their brands and intellectual property is accurately
represented in our games and/or marketing & activation materials. The role
will may require the triage and management of requests from external
agencies and global marketing teams to ensure activations are being
assessed and delivered as approved.
Success for this role includes a disciplined and predictable approach to
execution that supports the timely launch of our client titles,
activations, products, and services.
Requirements
Experience in one of these supporting disciplines – partner management,
program management, or partner marketing
Experience with licensed content
Ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment with various teams to
drive projects to conclusion
Bias for action to support the on-time delivery of projects with a focus
on communication and quality
Ability to plan, create and maintain a highly effective schedule through
the usage of a variety of tools
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be a master
at conflict resolution
Committed to creating a positive, safe, and inclusive environment to
facilitate cross team activities and initiatives
Dedicated to collecting feedback and adapting programs accordingly to
drive for results
Great interpersonal skills, sociable, cooperative, and the ability to

Ability to identify efficiencies in processes and optimize for a
repetitive and formulaic approach to managing ongoing program status and
deliverables for tracking and post activity analysis through the usage of
relevant tools, and dashboards as needed.
