Team

You will be a part of the Core Studios team (~5 FTE) managed by the Core studios manager, part of Voodoo's Core games department. The Core Games department is responsible for making new hit games published by Voodoo. You will work in a very enthusiastic, fast-paced, and international environment.

Role

As Operations Associate in the Core Studios team, you will work closely with the team's manager and the internal studios directors to make our studios teams succeed in making hit games.

The main focus of your role will be the 15-20 core studios community that are internal to Voodoo's group (~100 people), which make Voodoo's new games coached by our publishing team.

These studios operations are centralized by our Core studios team, and their performance is closely monitored to identify potential improvement levers.

Responsabilities

  • Ensuring excellence of operations of the internal studios
  • Coordinating operation between studio directors and relevant departments of Voodoo (e.g. Hiring, HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal)
  • Monitoring KPIs associated with core studios and identifying improvement levers
  • Designing and implementing business processes
  • Conducting ad hoc strategic and quantitative analysis to formulate recommendations (on the products, the teams, or the operational processes)
  • Preparing strategic reviews along with the team's manager

  • Identifying and qualifying top prospects worldwide and coachable studios

  • Identifying key market intelligence data points (including commercial)
  • Participating in the commercial calls to close the studios and coordinating the contractual process along with the legal department
  • Profile

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • Tier-1 business school or similar
  • Native or fluent English speaker
  • Great appetite for the mobile gaming industry
  • Internship experience in a highly demanding work environment is a plus (e.g. top tier consulting firm or investment banking)
