Job Description

Your main challenge as a Mid/Senior Partnerships Project Manager

Define and implement our partnerships and esports program, from the vision down to the execution. You will be the principal point of contact with all our partners, from car manufacturers to sport event organizers, from charity organization to leading tech brands. One day you will be working on a two-way collaboration with a video streaming platform, the next you will be planning synchronized launch (in-game and in-real life) on the next hotness in the hypercars world directly with the car manufacturer.

While keeping good relations with our partners, it will be your job to dream big and make these dreams a reality.

What it means on a daily basis

  • Be in regular contact with car licensors – whether it is update calls, email threads to open up new opportunities or producing postmortems for completed operations
  • Lead and oversee the process of creation and execution of the campaigns you are leading. You will need to be aligned with many different teams to execute a campaign (art, LiveOps, Design, Community, etc)
  • Design and pitch campaigns involving our partners based on your defined objectives (revenue, awareness, etc...)
  • Reach out and negotiate with agencies and other third party partners to organize esport events (venue, streaming/casting, organization, etc...)
  • Facilitate negotiation and contract signing with partners
  • Work with data and analytics teams to ensure traffic and conversion tracking is in place for appropriate campaign measurements
  • Handle KPIs projections and reporting both internally and with partners
  • Forecast potential revenue, marketing exposure, and overall ROI from partnerships campaigns

    A lot of people! This is a role that places importance on keeping stakeholders aligned, so you will have a lot of contacts. Your main role will be developing partner campaigns and esports for Asphalt 9 with the help of the rest of our partnerships team, which you will also mentor (Lara and Sergi), as well as to support our sales team who will also look for opportunities (separately). You will be a member of the Asphalt 9 marketing team which is composed of 10 people, but you will also be part of the bigger Asphalt 9 game team in the Barcelona studio. On top of that you will get to work with experts in a range of other fields (sales, legal, data protection, product...) and of course, all of our partners, from car licensors to esports organization.


    Who you are?

  • A diplomat and a negotiator, able to work and engage a large number of stakeholders, internal or external (most renown car manufacturers in the world, sports events organizers, esports organorganizations...)
  • A visionary, capable of drafting ambitious plans, identifying and integrating opportunities in said plans, and selling the dream
  • What you need to succeed?

  • Extensive experience (5 years minimum) in partnerships, business development or talent management. You are used to networking, negotiating and pitching.
  • Project management – from ideation to forecasts, from pitching to handling assets creation, you feel comfortable managing a project from A to Z
  • Leadership skills – You will be the lead in a small specialized team you will be expected to lead, mentor, and set objectives for.
  • Ambition – you will be working with brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and will be shaping our collaboration opportunities. It is key that you be able to generate exciting, ambitious concepts to work with them.
  • Planning - Outstanding organizational skills, experience implementing processes across events and partnerships

  • Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work – you will be juggling between a high amount of projects

  • Knowledge and passion for video games and cars/racing: you will need to understand Asphalt 9 in and out, but also to understand what makes those hypercars exciting

  • Completely fluent in English – both conversational and copywriting
  • Knowledge of the eSports industry and its trends is a plus
