OVERVIEW

PTW is looking for an experienced Localization QA Manager to oversee QA delivery out of our Braga studio. As a member of the global QA management team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all insourced and outsourced QA projects. You are a dynamic and highly motivated Localization QA Manager , who will cultivate and develop our LQA offering, growing, and developing the capability of our team.

This position is perfect for an engaging, personable, enthusiastic, and result-orientated individual, with an eye for detail. You will be responsible for the end-to-end quality of the projects delivered out of our Portugal studio (scoping, budgeting, strategy, performance management and execution of the plan). You will have significant experience within localization and be ready to take the next step in your career.

Requirements

What you'll be doing

  • Managing all Localization QA projects delivered by PTW's Portugal studios
  • Working closely with peers across the global organization to ensure all projects exceed client expectations
  • Managing a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators to enable them to grow and develop
  • Creating and implementing unified processes using industry and company best practice standards
  • Reviewing and assessing delivery on an ongoing basis to ensure continual improvement
  • Managing staff utilization, etc. to ensure profitability
  • Being a champion for linguistic quality
  • What we're looking for

  • Significant experience in games LQA testing, preferably in an outsourced environment
  • Significant experience of leading Localization QA teams
  • Knowledge of localization and translation technologies would be beneficial
  • First rate leadership and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a constantly changing workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and with constantly changing priorities
  • Excellent team-working and influencing skills
  • Flexibility regarding hours of work
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
