SUMMARY
Gunzilla Games is looking for a Junior Level Designer to help us to imagine
and develop compelling and engaging rules for our game. From conception to
release and throughout post-launch, the Junior Level Designer will create
high-quality game systems and mechanics that are adapted to the audience and
enable players to live out unique, fun, and rewarding gaming experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Junior Level Designer, you will:
Participate in level design and gameplay conception for PvP or PvE maps
Understand and apply the narrative ambition and desired gameplay
Actively participate in design-specific discussions and design reviews
Use available tools to create game spaces
Fix design bugs entered into the database by testers
Work in collaboration with the level artists to ensure that the level is
playable and that graphical elements support each other
REQUIREMENTS
Ability and desire to work in creative and collaborative teams
Ability to create fun and exciting levels using a full complement of game
mechanics
Excellent sense of 3D game space and environmental storytelling
Ability to write clear and concise documentation in English
Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office software
Good knowledge of Unreal level-editing tools and scripting languages
Minimum 2 years of experience in level design
Portfolio with examples of previous work/projects
