our new project being developed with Square Enix; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger

Job Description
To manage talents of UI artists and UX designers in developing visual
experiences across game and gameplay menus (HUD), while promoting usability
and user experience.to achieve best possible result for the project and
personal growth of team members
Duties:
Provide mentorship, direction and best in class UI and UX principles to
ensure quality results and efficient working practices
Know the game's story and gameplay, understand it and evangelize to the UI
and UX team
Work closely with other UI and UX team members to develop strategic plans
and define design priorities.
Ensure that the work of their team follows the quality standards, the
direction and deadlines
Work with production team on tasks assignment and a team schedule
Meet with game designers and art directors to define visual guidelines,
discuss progress, brainstorm ideas, reinforce the artistic and UX vision,
overcome constraints, provide feedback and coaching, etc.
Organizing and prioritizing UI/UX tasks.
Collaborate with the user research and community development teams to get
a clear picture of player behaviors, goals, motivations, values, needs.
Bugfixing and describing R&D case studies in knowledge base
Coordinating the UI /UX effort with possible outsource teams
Collaborate with interdependent teams (audio, art, animation, narration,
monetization) to ensure communication and consistency across the board.
Participate in recruitment to build a team and foster their growth.
Conduct onboarding to newhires
Conduct consistent performance reviews and the annual evaluations of their
team members.
Qualifications
Typically 5 years of experience as a UI artist or graphic designer or
other relevant experience (a background as a senior designer, analyst, or
ergonomist would be a plus)
Typically 2 years of experience in leading/coordinating work of an cross-
functional environment
Shipped game title experience (typically credits in at least 2 AAA titles
as an UI artist or graphic designer or other relevant)
Strong mentoring and leadership skills
In-depth knowledge of user-centered principles and techniques
Experience with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,
AfterEffect) and prototyping tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Open-minded team player attitude
Strong work ethic and self-motivated
A passion for solving complex problems with design solutions
Passionate about playing and making videogames
