The Learning & Development Program Manager (Manager Development) will play an important role in the development and implementation of our Manager and Leadership development learning programs at Riot and partner closely with Riot's broader learning teams, including the Core Learning team, Instructional Design team, and multiple Riot University teams. You will ensure and high quality delivery of desired learning outcomes across multiple major programs (e.g. Performance Management, Feedback, Manager Development, Leadership Development). You will also partner with program managers and other relevant partners to translate Riot needs into pragmatic learning solutions that achieve our goals. The L&D Program Manager will report to the L&D Manager and will be a craft mentor to other members on the broader L&D team.

  • Collaborate and support the team on a variety of programs as well as work independently in developing learning strategies and solutions to support managers and leaders.
  • In partnership with the Manager, L&D and Director, L&D, consult with leaders across Riot supporting development and learning needs while building productive relationships and collaborating effectively.
  • Develop, facilitate and deploy courses, programs, and resources to Managers and leaders globally at Riot across multiple learning modalities (classroom, virtual, eLearning, MOOC) that allow Riot's mission and Bold Bets.
  • Work with Sr. L&D Coordinator to produce and analyze metrics, surveys, and data to assess L&D program effectiveness and opportunities for improvement of L&D programs.
  • Evaluate learner needs and desired outcomes, propose solutions, and support the consistent development of identified areas of opportunity.
  • Create and implement communication and marketing strategies to increase the awareness of L&D programs.
  • Negotiate services and costs with vendors and providers. Work with others in areas such as risk management, accounting, finance and legal disciplines to determine feasibility regarding cost, risk to the company, and possible legal effects.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years experience with consulting with Manager, Leaders, and partners, knowledge of how to develop learning strategies, facilitation and design experiences for Senior leaders and managers
  • Operate with project management and build and socialize project roadmaps.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (Workday)
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role at a fast-growing tech company or other similar company
  • MBA, or Education Graduate Degree
  • Management or Management Consulting Experience

  • (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $99,500.00 - $140,100.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
