We secured the largest Series A raise in gaming history at $250 million, which

THE ROLE:
We are looking for an IT Engineering Manager to architect and implement
enterprise technology solutions for product team and data center operations.
This person will manage a small team of engineers while still “getting their
hands dirty” working on complex IT projects on their own.
The salary range for this position is $117,300 – $176,000. This range
represents the salary for the position commensurate with experience,
knowledge, and demonstrated success in the field.

You can troubleshoot complex technical issues and quickly isolate

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Work both as a leader of a team and independently on complex IT projects.
Own the lifecycle management of enterprise hardware (servers, storage,
networking equipment, etc) in our datacenter and office sites.
Forecast usage of datacenter compute, network, and storage to make
recommendations on future growth.
Mentor other IT Engineers, System Administrators, and Helpdesk staff by
providing high quality technical documentation and hands on mentorship.
Work with our external outsourcing partners to securely provide them with
access to our development systems.
Architect and implement highly available systems on prem and/or in cloud
to serve the internal studio and business needs.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to craft creative IT solutions
for a wide variety of problem spaces.
Work as an auxiliary team member of the Information Security team for
incident response and mitigation.
Ensure systems deployed are supportable at a production level by providing
documentation and tooling for efficient operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training,
and experience.
Requires a minimum of 7 or more years of related or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 or more years of management experience.
Experience managing enterprise storage solutions, including both block and
file level services.
Experience administrating both production and non-production environments.
Experience managing virtual machine infrastructure.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
You enjoy playing video games and preferably have worked in the Video Game
industry.
Familiarity operating in mixed Windows, MacOS and Linux environments.
Experience with gaming-related technology like streaming systems and
development hardware.
Familiarly with Server Clustering and other high availability
technologies.
Experience working with virtual network topologies in both cloud and on
prem VM architectures.
Experience designing and implementing networking solutions with enterprise
networking hardware.
Familiarity with DevSecOps design philosophy.
Familiarity with Service Meshes and Container orchestration using
Kubernetes.
Experience with Ansible or other Configuration Management solutions.
