Bungie is seeking an IT Systems Manager with experience in building and supporting technical teams to join our fast-paced industry-leading IT team. Do you enjoy solving complex issues? As an IT Systems Manager at Bungie, you will support the teams and technology solutions for our studio & datacenter operations, as well as global partner integrations. You'll work with a team of highly experienced IT engineers and administrators to continuously improve and evolve our technology infrastructures to ensure Bungie remains at the pinnacle as an entertainment company.

Successful candidates must be a seasoned & experienced professional, have a drive for excellence, solid work ethic, proven ability to mentor others, be able to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways, possess solid project management skills, be highly organized and a great communicator.

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non- technical, facilitating interactive design and functional specification sessions
  • Provides direct or indirect guidance and mentorship in the coordination of the activities of a small team or discipline with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing
  • Leading teams of application engineers and administrators
  • Driving new technology throughout the company
  • Strong business acumen and ability to communicate with stakeholders
  • Research, selection, planning, and implementation of new technologies to support scaling of applications to meet customer and business needs
  • Reviews and advises on project and delivery plans
  • Drives teams to close through prioritization and scoping
  • Seeks to align deliverables with appropriate resources
  • Actively drives consensus and alignment among teams and projects with conflicting priorities
  • Resource for reports and teammates for navigation of Bungie organization and processes
  • Proactively work to assess and resolve organization health risks
  • Perform semi-annual and annual performance review for each team member
  • Work with senior management to keep up-to-date on critical task progress, potential delays, challenges, resource needs, etc.
  • Support continuous learning and application of industry best practices to maintain the highest quality of engineering design and proactively identify process change/enhancement opportunities
  • REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently to solve challenging problems and provide recommendations in a timely manner
  • Experience building and supporting strong, self-sufficient teams
  • Ability to help reports and teammates navigate challenging scenarios
  • The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trustworthiness and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork
  • Business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance
  • Collaborates with department or team leads to work on complex issues or projects within their platform ecosystem(s)
  • Managing and participating in complex projects with multiple team members and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of datacenter and live production best practices and experience working in live high availability customer facing production environments
  • Technical proficiency in most of these areas and products: General troubleshooting, Active Directory, Azure, Intune or similar MDM tools)
  • NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience in Designing and engineering Enterprise Applications and environments at scale, including redundancy planning, design, performance troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with various IAM tools (AD, Azure)
  • Familiarity with various End User Experience tools and solutions (Intune, Parsec, VDI )
  • Experience with data migrations as part of mergers and acquisitions
  • Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly).

    This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

    Bellevue Pay Range

    $160,000—$181,000 USD

    Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:

  • 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
  • Contract and International FTE employees receive competitive benefits through their relevant contracting agency.
