Cloud Imperium Games is looking for an HR Manager to be the primary, go-to HR resource for employees in the Los Angeles, CA studio while also serving as a vital part of the global HR management team!

What does an HR Manager at CIG do?

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand & execute the organizations human resource & talent strategy particularly as it relates to current & future talent needs, retention, performance, & succession planning
  • Supports managers employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, & investigations
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, & new technologies in human resources & employment law
  • Maintains strong working knowledge of all HR systems and provides support to People Analytics team and other global HR teams as needed
  • Implements employee benefits programs by assessing benefit needs & trends; recommending benefit programs to management; obtaining & evaluating benefit contract bids; & designing & conducting educational programs on benefit programs
  • Creates employee relations guidelines by preparing, updating, & recommending policies & procedures
  • and such other duties and responsibilities assigned by Cloud Imperium Games reasonably consistent with employee's skills and experience
  • What do we expect from our HR Manager?

  • Current experience in but not limited to DEI initiatives, ER discussions and actions, and HR multi-state policies (global a plus)
  • Highly knowledgeable regarding HR issues including multi-state compliance, privacy, and policy research and drafting
  • Team player capable of wearing multiple hats
  • Experience in the video games industry a big plus
  • Related degree or certifications a plus
  • Pay Range

    This position's expected salary range (not inclusive of other benefits) for candidates located in or relocating to Los Angeles is $65,000.00-$85,675.00 annually.

    The actual base pay offered to a successful candidate may vary depending on individualized factors including job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. Additionally, CIG offers a generous benefit package to eligible employees including health benefits, paid time off, and both short- and long-term incentives (all subject to the terms of the individual programs).

    The company reserves the right to modify the base salary and pay range (or any other discretionary payment, compensation, or benefit program) at its discretion and/or for individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, market factors, and other objective business considerations.
