As HR Manager you will be working with the Senior Leadership Team and
reporting into the CEO.
You will partner key business stakeholders, understand the business goals
and challenges and translate these into effective people strategy and
Lead, manage, coach, motivate and develop your direct reports to ensure
that they fulfil their role requirements and achieve their potential and
that their performance contributes to the achievement of business goals.
Accountable for attraction, selection and recruitment across the business.
Implement a learning and development strategy to meet business
requirements providing a pipeline of succession and talent in all areas
across the business.
Manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions,
disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making
Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate
Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees
Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy.
Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement
changes where necessary.
Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and
guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the
Support organisational design and change management processes.
Analyse turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs.
Source and build robust talent pools and pipelines to recruit talent,
considering the most cost-effective method of attracting great candidates
whilst working with agreed time scales and budgets.
Define relevant dashboards, metrics, and reports to inform decisions and
give visibility to managers on key metrics and the status of open
Ensure employee benefits and rewards packages are competitive, collecting
data from external consultancies and other sources.
As a successful HR Manager, you will have the following:
Proven HR generalist experience of five years is expected.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills is required together
with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment
legislation and its application.
HR managers should be proactive team players with strong customer service
and problem-solving skills.
Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.
An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and
diplomacy is crucial.
Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
