We are looking for an M&A Analyst (Intern) to join our Strategy & Corporate Development team.

Working with the Head of M&A and with our Legal and Finance teams you will help us deliver our growth strategy by sourcing potential acquisition opportunities and supporting the team all the way to closing transactions. We can close deals quickly, with the support of internal teams as well as external advisors, and we aim to invest up to $50M in cash to deploy next year (c. 2-> 5 acquisitions).

he M&A Analyst (Intern) will interact with different stakeholders, such as target company founders and teams, Voodoo's leadership and colleagues from different teams, as well as external advisors.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Look for target companies
  • using our (user-friendly) competitive intelligence platforms to search for target companies
  • Some financial modeling (at least verifying sell-side firms' projections) for shortlisted targets
  • Helping draft deal investment memos
  • Growing & developing your interests in gaming and tech
  • Thinking of new things we should be doing
  • Profile

  • Team player
  • Fluent in English
  • Outside interests (athletic, cultural, etc)
  • “80/20” thinking-- it's not about the hours, it's about the output
  • Appetite for research, some interest in the casual mobile gaming industry and a financial modeling ability (first M&A internship in banking is an advantage)
  • Tier 1 business school (such as MSc)
