The Game Console Lab Technician is a Jr. level IT position that supports
and works alongside a team of game hardware testers. They support the team by
managing the test lab, inventory, and PoE Video Recording System. This
position will be responsible for receiving and tracking new Test Devices and
transporting them to KWS or other test sites. The Lab Technician will work
closely with the Test Leads and Test Manager to continue to improve and
innovate on current best practices.
Payrate: $18.25 USD per hour
This Position is 100% On-Site, and NO WFH options exist.
This position requires you to have a working personal vehicle during work
hours, and includes arming and disarming a security system at a secondary
work-site daily.

Responsibilities
Inventory management using the database for the projects' equipment
including clients property at Keyword site as well as Keyword property
which includes but is not limited to:
PCs (including monitors and accessories)
Consoles (Development kits, Retail kits)
TVs
Various parts and accessories
Manage the PoE Video Recording System which includes but is not limited
to:
Installing the cameras and cabling
Maintaining and building the server and any required software
Ensuring that all video are retained for 90 days
Prepare PCs and consoles for testing by installing required tools
Develop and maintain documentation for tool usage, asset management, and
various procedures pertaining to the role
Coordinate to provide necessary equipment for test labs and location with
test manager
Keep up with the most updated technologies for the video game industry and
develop a plan to integrate into the project
Support Keyword clients by quickly reacting to their requests
Support side projects requested by Test managers, which contribute to
Keyword's global success
Assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications
Very high attention to detail to drive and execute coordinating procedure
and processes with maximum precision
Ability to be fast and effective to quickly meet deadlines and requests
Outstanding verbal and written communication ability to successfully
interface with Clients
Desire to drive and improve Departmental Processes to help continually
evolve and develop
the program
Strong understanding of IT Networking PC Troubleshooting
Bonus if the candidate has basic coding knowledge and interest in learning
Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent experience in a Computer Science or
Engineering field
Working transportation
A+ N+ Certification preferred but not required
Customer Service and/or Sales background a plus
QA Testing background a plus
