The FQA Lead oversees medium/large projects with a variety of tasks, including supervising and mentoring the test team, executing the test plan, and other project-related tasks.

The FQA Lead ensures that a client's needs are met and is the first point of contact for customers. The FQA Lead has a major responsibility for mentoring and coaching Seniors and new FQA Leads as well as providing a stable and proactive role model for the department.

The FQA Lead is required to set an example to other employees and is expected to be familiar and proficient with all of the department processes and tools (including any updates or changes made) and be able to pass on this knowledge to Seniors and other Leads.

The FQA Leads will be responsible for mentoring Seniors and meeting them on a regular basis to review their Senior development/career path.

As an FQA Lead, they will be expected to be a point of contact for Associate Test Leads on department processes and tools and provide support as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with our Project Managers to understand, manage, and integrate projects into the overall workflow by communicating needs proactively and effectively

• Participate in Leadership meetings to support the development of strong project briefs and brief strongly, inspiring and empowering teams to seize challenges and solve problems

• Ensure projects are launched, executed, and completed according to the client's expectations

• Regularly evaluate Testers' and Seniors' performance, and facilitate feedback meetings

• Monitor and discipline the test team, if needed, which includes, but is not limited to, the distribution of verbal, written warnings, and other disciplinary actions alongside HR

• Provide active support to the Associate Lead on any team issues to ensure the smooth running of the team

Requirements

Skills & Experience Required:

技能经验/任职资格：

• Relevant experience in a similar role in the Video Games or related industry

在游戏行业或其他相关行业担任类似岗位的相关经验；

• Understanding of a bug's life cycle and workflow within a defect tracking database

了解漏洞的生命周期和漏洞跟踪数据库中的工作流程；

• Understanding of QA strategy and QA plan building

• Working knowledge of risk management in the context of the QA process
