Bungie is seeking an External Development Operations Specialist to play a critical role in building and centralizing our External Development processes. Working directly with our Director of External Development, the Operations Specialist will be a key player in building new, and improving existing, administrative processes for external vendor management. They will be responsible for working with internal supporting operational teams to drive process efficiency and implementation of these workflows.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated organizer of processes, who consistently pushes for efficiency within workflows. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a blend of external development and administrative experience, are prerequisites for success. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Buildout and own Bungie's external vendor database and associated workflows, with a focus on scalability and visibility
  • Centralize external development processes and rituals for vendor management, including contract facilitation, new business requests, IT onboarding and permissions, invoicing, and vendor performance reviews
  • Serve as the liaison between the external development team and Bungie operational teams, fostering strong relationships and establishing shared goals through collaboration
  • Challenge the existing norms by seeking innovative ways to improve and shape the operations of external development for the future, always striving for improvement and standardization
  • Identify and resolve communication and workflow issues pertaining to external development operations, proposing, and implementing effective solutions
  • Track the status of multiple operational workflows and provide visibility into their progress.
  • Craft regular communications to ensure effective dissemination of information
  • Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives within the external development team
  • Report to the Director of External Development
  • REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience creating database frameworks in AirTable or similar software – tracking large volumes of data, and presenting understandable views for different audiences
  • A Strong understanding of outsourcing relationships and their required administrative workflows - contracts, invoicing, onboarding, and performance reviews
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, written and verbal, across multiple teams, technical skill levels, cultures, and linguistic backgrounds
  • Ability to succinctly and precisely document workflows and processes
  • Must be able to handle a variety of multiple changing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with MS Office Suite or similar software

  • External Vendor Management experience
  • Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly).

    This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

    Bellevue Pay Range

    $121,000—$146,000 USD

    Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:

  • 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
  • Contract and International FTE employees receive competitive benefits through their relevant contracting agency.
