Bungie's Consumer Products team fuels franchise fandom through unique merchandise offerings and collectible rewards. The Consumer Products Partnership Manager will lead licensing business growth for consumer products categories across multiple entertainment franchises. This role reports directly to the Director of Consumer Products and works closely with key stakeholders across multiple teams to establish the end-to-end strategy for global licensing partnerships with the goal of expanding fandom of Bungie's entertainment franchises.

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Execute the Consumer Products partnership strategy for Bungie IP titles, driven by developer, player, market and product insights
  • Develop deep understanding of fans of Bungie's games as well as upcoming in-game content and marketing activations to support the growth of the licensing program
  • Identify and evaluate strong licensing partners whose goals are aligned with the overall Consumer Products strategy for Bungie's gaming franchises
  • Lead merchandise licensing efforts including business development and management of the licensees and licensing agency partners
  • Be informed of the priorities and complexities of cross-functional teams (e.g. game development, franchise, PR, social, etc.) and understand how consumer products benefit and support other teams' work
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders in the Consumer Products licensing business and ensure appropriate internal stakeholders are involved in key decision-making
  • Establish key metrics with reporting on a regular cadence
  • Be the liaison with IP franchise leadership on business and revenue plans and status updates on a regular cadence
  • Consistently translate team goals into solutions, identify more cost- effective alternates and describe tradeoffs
  • REQUIRED SKILLS

  • As a relationship-builder, you enjoy making connections with lots of different people and teams
  • Demonstrated success in growing a licensing program at a global consumer brand in the video game or entertainment industry
  • Excellent presentation skills leveraging Microsoft Suite and other programs to visually and verbally articulate key points
  • Capacity and confidence to be highly engaged and collaborative in a hybrid work environment
  • Ability to tackle ambiguity head-on to drive the planning process for merchandise programs on a 18–24-month future-facing timeline through strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to shipping best-in-class products, within real-world resource and business constraints
  • Ability to travel to relevant industry shows and events

  • Familiarity working with multiple franchises and established IPs
  • Passion for consumer products or collectibles
  • Familiarity with Bungie's current and past releases
  • Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly).

    This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

    Bellevue Pay Range

    $135,000—$153,000 USD

    Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:

  • 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
  • Contract and International FTE employees receive competitive benefits through their relevant contracting agency.
