Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders. We are one of
the most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the industry and we are
expanding it with in-house solutions called PCF Framework.
Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is
our new project being developed with Square Enix; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger
are projects we're growing in the self-publishing model. We also have one
project in the concept phase – Red; as well as two projects in VR technology –
Green Hell VR and Thunder - a new project based on one of the IPs from the
Group's portfolio.

Job Description
Write code for how the opponents make decisions and behave in a believable
way on all challenge degrees.
Maintain and extend the existing UE5 AI framework and tools
Work across multiple disciplines on the behaviors of a large variety of
non-player characters, bringing to
life memorable enemies of all shapes and sizes
Maintain and extend the existing UE5 AI framework and tools
Design, implement into engine and maintain new AI features
Create code and algorithms for pathfinding, group movement and
cooperation, tactical strategy.
Establish decision trees for opponents
Create neural networks for opponents
Test, debug, profile, optimize and document implementations
Actively attend in code reviews
Qualifications
Typically 3 years of software engineering experience
Shipped title experience
Expert in C++ and object-oriented programming with a strong 3D math
background
Good understanding of AI architecture and standard technology
Good understanding of modern AI techniques as used in AAA games
Experience with multi-threading
Experience with performance measurement and optimization
Experience in programming movement, navigation, and decision-making AI
Ability to write solid, reliable, efficient code
Game designer's creativity
Being able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Open-minded team player attitude
Strong work ethic and self-motivated
Passionate about playing and making video games
