Job Description

Gameloft Barcelona together with Disney have recently entered early access on an exciting new multiplatform IP: Disney Speedstorm.

Your role as a 3D Render Artist will be to create 3D renders in Blender of our existing in-game character assets. Your artwork will be used within the game's menus and for promotional material. We're looking for an independent artist that can create visually appealing images that capture our characters' identities through posing, composition, and 3D rendering.

Qualifications

Able to produce original graphic compositions (framing, camera angles)

Prior experience as a concept artist or graphic designer would be ideal

Knowledge of 3D (camera manipulation, posing 3d characters using rigs, texturing, and lighting) is a must

Experienced with Blender

Ability to take initiative tailoring the resulting artworks to their final use

Able to adapt to feedback

Proactive and able to work independently

High level of English

Able to work to a deadline

Details:

We will require a portfolio of mixed 3D or 2D artworks demonstrating your artistic abilities

3+ years of experience with 3D rendering in Blender is a must

Some experience manipulating and posing pre-existing 3D character models would be ideal

You should be able to visually assess the look of game 3D assets in our engine and translate that to a 3D render in Blender – respecting the original appearance of our in-game characters in the resulting artwork
